NEXT MEETING
Our next homeschool meeting will be Tuesday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m.  We will meet at Grace Bible Church 5303 Alabama.  Childcare will be provided for $1.00 per child.  We have already set the dates for the upcoming meetings which will be on:
October 21st, Nov. (no meeting), December 2nd, Jan. 20th, Feb. 17th, March (no meeting), April 21st,  May (TBA).
 
FIELD TRIPS
We have a long list of possible places with contact information, however nobody has stepped up to coordinate the field trips.  So far only one person has volunteered to orgzanize a field trip. If you are interested in coordinating a field trip contact Toni Migura at tmigura@stx.rr.com
   
TAMIU SUMMER SOCCER CAMP
Ages 5-8th grade   has developed into a weekly soccer clinic on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m.  Claudio Arias TAMIU Soccer Coach has again agreed to help us and will also have clinics for basketball and volleyball, but we need a person to coordinate with Claudio .  The person would have to send out notices to find out who is interested in participating and schedule dates/times. CURRICULUM HELP!
*Curriculum help - We have created a resource for those who have questions about different curriculums.  It is available at the providence meetings.  This will be a great tool for new homeschoolers!  For more information about who to connect with to ask questions about different curriculums contact Janie Valdez
